Talk in conjunction of World Orang Utan day

You are invited to a talk featuring in conduction of World Orang Utan day by Braken Tisen Deputy General Manager for protected area  Biodiversity Concervation division.

Abstract on the talk:
 There are two different species of orangutan in the world: Pongo pygmaeus (Bornean Orangutan) and Pongo abelii (Sumatran Orangutan). In Borneo the species is further separated into 3 sub-species: Pongo pygmaeus pygmaeus (Western Borneo - Sarawak and West Kalimantan), Pongo p. wurmbii (Southern Borneo – South Kalimantan) and Pongo p. morio (Northern Borneo – Sabah and East Kalimantan). The talk is on orangutan behaviour, biology, distribution and an overview of orangutan conservation in Sarawak.
